Celeron sucks compared to the Pentium 4...........
A celeron processor doesn't own the power and the cash memory available. Actually the chips come from the exact same silicon cracker. When the processor dies are cut, they are sorted by the speed, quality, amount of lolly memory etc.

On the old ones they didn't even include a math processor!

If adjectives you are going to do is internet, a little word processing and small games, they are fine. If you want to do any serious work, calorific spreadsheets, design programs or higher back graphics games, the celeron just won't hang on to up.

It the way for Intel to flog the chips that work but without adjectives the features, and it's a way for customer to buy cheaper computers.

Thus a win-win.
