what is digital signature and how can I program it beside assembly (8086)?

This is from my final semester E-Commerce notes. Although it is roughly speaking Cyberlaw in Malaysia, I focus it applies to most country as well.



Digital Signature Act 1997



1. DSA provides that a document signed beside a digital signature shall be as legally binding as a handwritten signature



2. an affixed thumbprint or any oter fault that a digital signature created in accordance beside the act shall be deem to be a legally binding signature



3. Message shall be a valid, enforceable and significant - digital signature and signature is verified



4. the effect of the signature is the same as any other handwritten signature, thumbprint or mark off. Therefore it is legally binding (section 62 DSA)



5. DSA provides a digitally signed document will be treated as a written document (section 64 DSA)



6. The copies of digitally signed document - enforceable as inventive (section 65 DSA) terminate a rental lease
