Also, you want to make sure you are using medium that is madeto knob the speed of your burner. you really dont want to have a 24x burner, and buy 4X medium.. it takes forever
i own the best luck with department depot brand dvd's. and they seem to be on public sale alot more then the term brand ones are.

I hold yet to run into doomed to failure disc except one totally unbranded -RW for $1 that could write except the all-important TOC, although I had problem near Sony's disc before however it wasn't beside DVD at all, but it be also with writing to TOC.
