I guess it would be creative, it suits most on adjectives of the motherboards also.
It depends on what motherboard u have, sort of.

NVidia is appropriate though
there are two companies that respectively have 40% of the marketshare. they are both excellent.

I've other trusted Creative. The Audigy Value series is priced competitively, and works well satisfactory for basic surround nouns audio. IMHO, spending more than 50$ on a sound card isnt' really indispensable , lest you're gunning to make your computer the focal point of your entertainment center.
check out the Creative soundcards, no problems beside them in my experience, they nouns great and if you have a goodwill next to a computer store near you or a recycler of electronics that put up for sale used parts you can pick one up cheap! out here in so.cal they're plentyfull, or do approaching the no-nothings and pickup a new one for an inflated price.
