a circuit board that plugs into the inside of the computer and allows you to use speakers, microphones, so you can play sounds, music, etc. through the computer.

Once you own installed the card you will need to install the drivers for the nouns card. If you don't have the driver compact disc then you will own to search the lattice for the drivers.
This is hardware that manipulates sounds. For standard computers, it have three slots; input, output, and microphone. The output is for the speakers or subwoofers, the input is an analog incase you don't have a CD-ROM on the computer, and the microphone, in good health you know it already.
