What is form factor 1.8" or 2.5 HDD" ?

Can a frozen disk with form factor of 1.8" be used on CPU module which is the CPU form factor is 2.5" HDD ?

It wont fit contained by the bracket but you can probably find some sort of adapter type thing or use a makeshift one.



Just past you get it engender sure that both the Hard drive and the computer have alike type of connector cables.
That is the depth of the hard drive.

Or you can get a USB stall for the 2.5" drive and use it like an oversized USB push button.



The 2.5" drives have a 50-pin connector that have power and ground throught the same connector. The 3.5" drives hold a seperate 40-pin signal cable and a 4-pin molex connector for power.



To directly answer your question, no it won't work- not in need an adapter.
Ok the CPU has nought to do with this drive fitting or not. Nor will it affect the compatibility contained by your system. What will is the Interface on your motherboard: Sata or ATA. Assuming your motherboard supports the same interface as the HDD yes it will work as long as you hold something that will convert a 2.5 connector to a 1.8. Then your all set.
