What is needed to install SATA drives Windows 98se?

Hi, i hold a Seagate ST380013S SATA drive that i want to put in a PC running W/98se next to a MSI K7 pro (6195) mobo (http://www.pcstats.com/articleview.cfm?a... with 2 other HD's and a DVD burner. I swap IDE HD's recurrently, but have no exp. next to this type.

It appears i need to run surrounded by IDE emulation mode, and or need a PCI adapter card as economically as cables. If anyone have done this and can advise i would appreciate it. Thanks

Orthis one. Dual Channel Sata & Esata PCI-express Card
if your mother board isnt too weak, then you can update the bios and use it approaching any other, if this cant be done, then one and only an external hard drive or through some medium such as some type of pci card would be neccesary, I don't know any specifics
The following link should assistance.

Also this would be an ideal time to carry an up to date OS. Get UBUNTU you can dual boot it with Windows 98. There is an excellent forum where on earth users provide help.
