What is dual core processor. I?

What is dual core processor. I?

Hi Sel,

A dual core processor is simply a processor have 2 cores! Well let me explainify a bit further...

The core of the processor is its "base". an example of an AMD(tm) core is the Venice core and an example of an INTEL(tm) core is the Prescott.

Generally, respectively core can handle up to 1 thread, or operation, at a time. Thus, have more cores, simply results in greatly increased system operation.
to enhance the performance of a computer... one style is to put multiple processors on it or some how imitate this... core duo is the second remedy where they put multiple processors on a single microchip along beside all the prerequisites and requirements of the processors and this is call as a core duo chip. it works like two processors are inside your computer.
In brief it's two CPU's mounted on one Die.

So what is a single chip that you mount into your Mainboard if truth be told contains two processors.
