What is a straightforward guitar computer record software to use. To Record music into a computer?

I get a tune port a couple months ago. I returned it after the person at the store didn't realize how ancient my computer was. I needed more memory. What other cassette device is out there i.e. easy to play a riff and diary and loop and edit on. I am not too flawless with multi track mixer boards. It is kinda difficult. Just looking for a down and dirty trouble-free way to know how to record smoothly
